I don’t think he was being stubborn. I think he was being desperate and she wasn’t doing anything for him. Not that I blame her. She was still heartbroken. That scene KILLS ME though. SO MUCH. The coin toss was Claudia’s idea. Because of all the fate on the show. And how was he able to let her go. The woman he loves more than life.

At the beginning of the commentary Claudia announces that the show has been cancelled. The sadness in her voice is heartbreaking throughout the whole thing. She still has her crazy sense of humor, but she’s very quiet, very respectful of the episode, letting the scenes play before commenting.
She’s saying goodbye to her job, her friends, and the epsiode is already difficult to watch as it is without the added suckerpunch. I’m in a puddle of my own tears. (and then SG-1 happened, but that’s another story..)
